Everything about the Fade and Spirits, about Andrastianism and the Stone, about the Inquisitor being a former mook for a shady organization that thrived on the Status Quo, it all added up for me in the long run, and painted a very original picture of the story of the Inquisition: a stranger with absolutely no personal interest in the big picture, trying to convince the world that their beliefs, politics and political stances are all utter self-centered bullshit, and that the only thing worth doing is closing the hole in the sky. People react very distinctively to Dwarven Inquisitors. So, which non-human races have the best unique feel to them playing through the game? Will I really notice a significant difference between dwarf and human? Or is Elf the definite way to go in DA:I? Same with Qunari, though right now it's lowest on my preferences due to appearance and issues I've heard about regarding armor variety. But I haven't ever played a dwarf (neither in Origins nor DA:I), so was wondering if there was anything cool or unique about playing through as one of them. Elf (rogue) seems like it should have a lot of cool synergy with the plot line (though I don't intend to romance Solas). While I'm at it, I decided I'd play a female non-human as well so I could see the differences there too.īuuut now I'm stuck on what to play. Now that it's been a little while, I'd like to do a second play-through, this time siding with the Templars and completely denouncing faith in the Chantry.
So, after Dragon Age: Inquisition first came out, I did a complete play-through as a male human mage who sided with the Mages and believed in the Maker/Andraste but didn't feel he was a 'chosen one' - just a guy in the right place/right time.
